The Lithuanian Botanical Society is a public organisation that unites the botanical community and all those who care about the plant world and the advancement of awareness of natural science.
The organisation's essential task is to raise public awareness of plant diversity and strengthen the position of botanical science in Lithuania. We strive not only to learn, but also to hear the "voice" of plants, to understand their significance in ecosystems and human life.
The Society organises scientific activities, expeditions, and events, carries out educational and research projects, provides expert services, and brings together specialists to address relevant environmental issues.
The organisation has over 80 members. The Society welcomes both professionals and amateurs who want to learn, collaborate, and grow together with the botanical community.
