A research institute, Visionary Analytics, in partnership with EFIS, DCC, and DANS, is conducting a study on the European research data landscape commissioned by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD) (please find the support letter following the link below). It covers research data production, consumption, and depositing practices in the EU, UK, and Horizon 2020 Associated Countries. The study aims to provide a detailed characterisation of the research data ecosystem in the European context and will provide valuable information to support the Commission, the EOSC Partnership, and various other stakeholders in developing more targeted policies and implementing actions to mainstream FAIR and open data practices in Europe.
To this end, we invite researchers to contribute to the study by completing a survey. The survey aims to collect information on researchers' data production, consumption, and deposit practices. We are interested in researchers’ opinions even if they are not reusing, producing, or depositing research data.

The survey is anonymous; all collected data will be anonymised before analysis. More information about the data protection and privacy is available here and in the survey.
