LSC Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Selection Criteria
Criteria for LSC Erasmus+ staff mobility to teaching and training
VU Life Sciences Center (LSC) members of staff must meet the following criteria for Erasmus+ staff mobility for training and teaching at a Higher Education Institution and private companies:
- VU LSC teaching staff can only apply for Erasmus+ teaching mobility.
- The visit cannot be held during nonworking days (unless it is proven to be necessary).
- Only one member of staff can apply to the same training visit (unless it is proven to be necessary).
If there are more applicants than can be sent for Erasmus+ mobility, the priority is given to:
- shorter duration of the mobility;
- administrative staff;
- members of staff who never participated in the Erasmus+ staff mobility programme.
14 January 2025 Erasmus+ Blended-Intensive Programmes (application deadline 03 February 2026)

In short, BIPs are summer or winter schools that are a part of the Erasmus+ exchange programme.
If you plan to organize a BIP, please send the completed application form by 3 February 2026 to Sigita Mėlynytė.

The results will be announced in April or May. If your BIP is funded, the school must take place anytime between June 2026 and June 2028.
Partner universities can be of your choice, but it is recommended to include at least one university from the Arqus alliance (https://www.arqus-alliance.eu/index.php/members" data-outlook-id="0520e661-e12b-45bb-9a00-5fed179897d6" data-auth="NotApplicable" data-linkindex="1">https://www.arqus-alliance.eu/index.php/member ). Please plan for more students/partners than the bare minimum to ensure the school event takes place.
