The Vilnius University Life Sciences Center is home to three academic branches that participate in joint activities: the Institutes of Biochemistry, Biotechnology, and Biosciences. It is a new, innovative center equipped with modern laboratory equipment and top-level scientific research services. The Life Sciences Center of Vilnius University comprises a large amphitheater with 340 seats, 34 smaller lecture halls, general-use classrooms & meeting rooms, and spacious hall areas. The Center is open to scientific events in the fields of life and physical sciences, biotechnologies, innovations, higher education policy, and STEAM education.
