The Institute of Biosciences conducts research in the fields of molecular and systems biology of living organisms, as well as biodiversity, population, and ecosystems. The staff of the institute is responsible for all Bachelor's and Master's degree study programmes, also for doctoral degree study programmes of Biology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Zoology, Ecology, and Environmental Research.
