Assessment strategy

Assessment criteria

Oral presentation

For the assessment student prepares oral presentation (40-50 min) of a topic related to industrial microbiology. The most recent research of the field, problems and strategies to address the raised issues should be analysed in the presentation. The report must be based on publications from the last 5 years.

Assessment

10 (perfect) – the presentation is detailed; the speaker is able to discuss and analyze the topic.

9 (very good) – the presentation is detailed; the speaker is partially able to discuss and analyze the topic.

8 (good) – the presentation has minor errors; the speaker is partially able to discuss and analyse the topic.

7 (middling) – the presentation has some fundamental errors; the speaker is partially able to discuss and analyse the topic.

6 (satisfactory) – the presentation has many errors; the speaker is partially able to discuss and analyse the topic.

5 (week) – the presentation has many errors; the ability of the speaker discusses and analyze the topic is weak.

0-4 (unsatisfactory)
