With the intensification of the rhythm of life, various CNS disorders multiply, one of them is sleep, which is known to be critically important for the normal functioning of a living organism. Insomnia in some countries is complained of by up to 30% of the population, which indicates the scale of the problem. There are drugs to treat insomnia, but they differ in effectiveness, side effects, so there is a need for the development of new, more effective remedies. During the project, the effect of various bioactive substances - cannabinoids, spirulina, etc. - on the sleeping mechanisms of the model animal - the rat - will be studied using behavioral and electrophysiological methods.
