Two Lithuanian researchers were awarded prestigious L’ORÉAL Baltic scholarships ‘For Women in Science’.
On Tuesday, 11 June seven researchers from Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia were awarded L’ORÉAL Baltic scholarships ‘For Women in Science’ during the ceremony held in the Aula Magna of the University of Latvia.
L’ORÉAL Baltic awarded scholarships of €6000 to two Lithuanian researchers, Dr Jurgita Skiecevičienė and doctoral student of VU LSC Milda Alksnė.
This scholarship has also been awarded to another VU LSC representative. In 2017 it was given to VU LSC scientist dr. U. Neniškytė. She became the first woman from Lithuania who has been awarded this type of scholarship.
