The ARQUS AL7 International Forum on ‘Diversity, interdisciplinarity and social challenges‘ took place at the University of Granada, Spain, from 2-6 May. More than 40 students from the Universities of Vilnius, Bergen, Granada, Gratz, Leipzig, Lyon and Padua participated.

During the event, students took part in international debates on European social and biodiversity topics, and explored local, regional and global diversity issues and challenges. At the same time, they gained experience in teamwork, data collection and analysis and presentation of results, and networked with researchers and students from other universities in other countries.
Vilnius University was represented by lecturers from the Life Sciences Centre Dr. Arūnas Samas and Dr. Irena Nedveckytė, as well as students Agnija Fedukovičiūtė (LSC), Rugilė Normantaitė (LSC), Ramūnas Pranauskas (Faculty of Chemistry and Geosciences), Tabriz Mamarakhimov (Faculty of Economy and Business Administration), Melita Vilkevičiūtė (TSPMI), Austėja Norkutė (TIF).
