Preliminary Topic: Purification and in vitro functional analysis of the non-heme diiron monooxygenase PmlABCDEF complex
Short Description of the Internship Work: The aim of this work will be to carry out studies on the biosynthesis of individual subunits and various subunit complexes of the multicomponent non-heme diiron monooxygenase PmlABCDEF, with the goal of purifying the enzyme and performing in vitro enzymatic activity assays. The work will include the construction of different genetic constructs (plasmid vectors), studies of protein biosynthesis, protein purification, enzymatic activity assays, bioconversions, and analysis of the resulting reaction products.
