Museum is waiting for visitors Monday to Friday 9 AM - 5 PM.

Guided tours can be arranged at other times, upon the agreement.

VU Museum of Zoology welcomes visitors only with prior arrangement for visiting time.

Dr. Virginija Podėnienė - head of the department of Zoology is directly responsible for the collection.

Daily activity of the museum is carried out by one senior specialist position, who is responsible for:

- Curation, management and inventory of the collections;

- Deposition of scientific material collected during the research of the staff or students of the Department of Zoology;

- Teaching tours for the students of the institute of Biosciences;

- Educational tours for the general public;

- Preparation and publishing of the educational and other material about the activities of the museum.
