Equipment Information:

Functions:

  • Orbital shaking (gentle circulation of cultures)
  • Temperature control: heating and cooling
  • HEPA filtration (reduces cross-contamination)
  • Time, temperature, and speed settings controlled via LCD screen
  • Program memory and safe operation with alarms for limit exceedance

Purpose / Usage:

  • Cultivation of bacteria, yeast, and eukaryotic cells
  • Synthesis and extraction of proteins or other biomolecules in cultures
  • DNA/RNA synthesis and hybridization
  • Solution homogenization, extraction, and laboratory mixing

Applications:

  • Microbiology and cell biology laboratories
  • Biotechnology and pharmaceutical research
  • Diagnostic laboratories
  • Academic and industrial research requiring controlled shaking and temperature

Operating Principle:

  1. Samples are placed on the orbital platform and secured with clamps.
  2. The platform moves in an orbital trajectory, gently mixing cultures evenly.
  3. Temperature is maintained within the set range, and the HEPA filter ensures clean and uniform air.
  4. The system monitors speed, time, and temperature, allowing either cycle operation or continuous mode.
  5. After the cycle, the platform can be pulled out for easy access to the samples.
