  • Operating Principle
  • The sample in each microplate well is illuminated by a controlled light source.
  • Monochromators select the exact wavelength for excitation or detection.
  • Depending on the assay:
  • The instrument measures light absorbed,
  • Fluorescence emitted, or
  • Luminescent signal produced by the sample.
  • The detected optical signal is converted into an electrical output, recorded, and processed by the SkanIt™ software, which provides data visualization and quantitative analysis.
