Short Description: Integrated continuous flow chemistry system with two reactor positions and 2–3 independent V-3 pumps. Suitable for homogeneous and heterogeneous synthesis across a wide temperature (−70 to +250 °C) and pressure (up to 10 bar) range, including photochemical, polymerization and medicinal chemistry reactions. Operated via a touchscreen interface.
Produser: Vapourtec
Equipment Information:
The E-Series is a self-contained, integrated flow chemistry platform for continuous reactions in micro- and milli-scale reactors. Reagents are delivered by V-3 peristaltic-type pumps, which tolerate strong acids and bases, air- and moisture-sensitive reagents, and can pump light slurries and suspensions. The system has two reactor positions accepting the full Vapourtec reactor range – PFA, stainless steel or Hastelloy tubular reactors, fixed-bed (packed column) reactors, cryogenic cooled reactors, UV-150 photochemical reactors, CSTRs, electrochemical cells, etc. Reactors are exchanged in seconds without tools. Heating/cooling uses forced convection inside an insulated glass manifold. Applications: organic synthesis, medicinal chemistry, polymer synthesis, photochemistry, Grignard reactions, lithiation, nitration, oxidation, ozonolysis, multi-step synthesis, nanoparticle production, catalyst screening, process optimization.

Information for the User:
- Briefing by the responsible person is mandatory before use. When using aggressive reagents (strong acids/bases, organic solvents, photocatalysts), work in a fume hood or with adequate ventilation and wear appropriate PPE. Always verify reactor and wetted-path material compatibility prior to each experiment. After use, flush the system with a suitable solvent.
Additional Comments:
The system can be expanded with additional modules (Fmoc-UV detector, SF-10 auxiliary pumps, active pressure regulator, cryogenic reaction kit). Suitable for both teaching and research.
