SpinChem® RBR yra patentuota besisukančio sluoksnio reaktoriaus technologija, kurioje kietos fazės medžiaga (imobilizuoti fermentai, katalizatoriai, jonų mainų dervos, aktyvuota anglis, adsorbentai ir kt.) supakuojama į besisukantį perforuotą krepšį su filtrais. Reaktorius pritvirtinamas prie stovelio su mechaniniu maišikliu ir įleidžiamas į reakcijos kolbą ar stiklinį indą; sukantis reaktoriui, išcentrinė jėga intensyviai cirkuliuoja skystį per sluoksnį, užtikrindama puikią masės pernašą tarp fazių. Skirtingai nei įprastinė suspensija su maišoma kietąja faze, šiuo būdu kieta medžiaga nesusidėvi trinties būdu, lieka lengvai atskiriama nuo produkto ir daug lengviau pakartotinai naudojama. Information for the User:
- A briefing by the responsible person is mandatory before use. Before each experiment, verify that the reactor is clean, inner and outer filters are intact, the solid phase is properly loaded and the assembly is tightened. Check the compatibility of solvents and reagents with the reactor materials (PEEK / PTFE / stainless steel). An overhead stirrer with a standard shaft connection is required to operate the reactor; rotation speed is chosen according to the process – excessive speed may damage filters or throw liquid into the condenser. After use, disassemble the reactor, recover the solid phase (if to be reused), rinse the components with a suitable solvent; replace filters according to wear.
Additional Comments:
The SpinChem RBR technology enables heterogeneous reactions without mechanical attrition of the catalyst or immobilized enzymes, allowing the solid phase to be reused over many cycles. The S2 + S3 combination at GMC enables both process development (S2, 120–300 mL) and intermediate scale-up studies (S3, 500–1500 mL) using the same flow principle, providing direct transferability between scales. Replacement filters (S2: SKU 1221-935), Plus versions for higher solid loading, and custom versions in alternative materials are available on request.
