On 11 November, from 13:00 to 16:00, an online practical workshop, “Storytelling in Science Communication,” will take place. The workshop is designed to help scientists and researchers strengthen their ability to communicate scientific research, findings and complex scientific topics clearly, effectively and engagingly to different audiences.

During the workshop, lecturer Olegas Volkovas will introduce practical and effective storytelling techniques that help transform complex scientific ideas into clear, memorable and relevant stories. Participants will explore ways to present research findings, explain complex concepts and adapt scientific information to different audiences – from fellow researchers and specialists in other fields to the general public.

The Science Communication Academy is part of the Cities in STEAM project, implemented by the VU STEAM Education Centre. The project is funded by the European Union.
