We invite you to a public lecture entitled ‘State of the Art Technology at CERN and its Role in the EU Industry’, which will take place on 20 October at 9.00 in room 114, Vilnius University Business School, Saulėtekio al. 22, Vilnius. The lecture will be delivered in English by Prof. Costas Fountas, President of the Council of the European Organisation for Nuclear Research (CERN)

About the lecture
What does it take to develop technologies that do not yet exist? At CERN, answering fundamental questions about the Universe requires pushing the limits of engineering, computing and technological innovation. Professor Costas Fountas, President of the CERN Council, will explore how these challenges drive technological breakthroughs, create new opportunities and contribute to the future of European industry.

About the Professor
Professor Costas Fountas is a distinguished experimental physicist who has contributed to major international particle physics experiments at CERN and beyond, advancing our understanding of the fundamental structure of matter.
