On 3 September at 1:00 p.m. in Room R401, in his lecture “Molecular civilisation we call life”, Prof. Turk will invite the audience to explore the origins and evolution of life from an unconventional perspective. He will consider how new biological mechanisms and processes emerge in nature, raise questions about the origins of the genetic code and hereditary information, and discuss the possible role of quantum processes in the development of life. The professor is also preparing a new book on this topic.
