AKSHAY KUMAR VIJAYA will defend his thesis entitled "Modulation of Microglia Functions in Ageing and Neuroinflammation: From Mechanisms to Therapeutic Interventions" for the degree of Doctor of Science in Biochemistry.
The dissertation was prepared at the Department of Biological Models, Institute of Biochemistry, Life Sciences Center, Vilnius University (Vilnius, Lithuania) during the period of 2019 - 2025 The research was supported by the Research Council of Lithuania (LMTLT), agreement No. S-SEN-20-9 and the European Regional Development Fund (project No. 01.2.2-LMT-K-718 02-0014) under a grant agreement with the Research Council of Lithuania (LMT LT).
