We invite all academic staff members of Vilnius University Life Sciences Center who have voting rights to participate in the elections for members of the Vilnius University Council. Voting will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in room C109 of the LSC, the glass “cube” in the first-floor lobby.

The election procedure is being held following the resignation of Algimantas Markauskas from his position as a Council member, representing this area since the 2024 elections. The candidates for the Vilnius University Council are:

Dr. E. Radzevičienė – an experienced leader and member of the academic community who served as Chair of the Vilnius University Council during the 2019–2024 term. She worked for more than 20 years at the international company Thermo Fisher Scientific and currently heads the Future Biomedicine Fund.

T. Andrejauskas – an experienced manager and active representative of Lithuania’s life sciences sector. Since 2020, he has been serving as President of the Lithuanian Biotechnology Association (LithuaniaBio) and Fitodenta Ltd., as well as Vice President of the Confederation of Lithuanian Industrialists.
