DALIA SMALAKYTĖ will defend her thesis entitled "Insights into type III CRISPR-Cas immunity: mechanisms of Csm6 deactivation and a comprehensive characterization of the Lon-SAVED effector" for the degree of Doctor of Science in Biochemistry.
The dissertation was prepared in 2019-2025 at Vilnius University, Life Sciences Centre, Institute of Biotechnology. The research was supported by the Lithuanian Science Council. The dissertation is defended externally.
