On 13 May, the Vilnius University Life Sciences Center (VU LSC) welcomed Rachele Landini, Inclusion Affairs Specialist from the University of Florence, for a visit focused on inclusivity and community wellbeing initiatives.

Together with representatives from the Vilnius University Community Wellbeing Department, Community Psychologist at Vilnius University Alan Filatov and Simona Uleckienė, Disability Affairs Coordinator, VU LSC Director Dr. Arvydas Lubys, and Head of Marketing and Communications Kristina Černiauskienė discussed the measures currently being implemented to improve accessibility and inclusion for all community members at VU LSC. The conversation also highlighted several recent improvements initiated in part through active student representation and explored areas where further progress could be made.

Particular attention was given to the importance of psychological support within the academic environment and the benefits of having a dedicated psychologist available for the VU LSC community.

During the visit, the guests toured Dr. Marius Dagys Laboratory, the VU LSC Museum of Zoology, student training laboratories, and collaborative workspaces, gaining insight into both the scientific activities and the community-oriented environment fostered at the center.
