The scientists presented their ongoing research on the epidemiology and evolution of viruses and bacteria.

Director Dominique also delivered a seminar to the VU LSC academic community focusing on the concept of research security. In her presentation, she outlined potential risks associated with international scientific collaboration and encouraged researchers to remain vigilant when establishing partnerships and sharing sensitive research.

Her visit marked an important step in raising awareness of research security and in introducing these principles more broadly within Lithuania’s research community.
