This is the day when we remember the people who, on 13 January 1991, stood up to defend Lithuania’s freedom – unarmed, yet united, courageous, and firm in their resolve.
Their choice became the foundation of our everyday life.
Let us honour those who lost their lives, thank the defenders, and safeguard freedom from generation to generation.
