The COINS, in collaboration with BSV Ventures invites you to The Life Sciences Hackathon “Biospark 2.0” - a perfect chance to turn ideas into action and compete for amazing prizes: a chance to receive up to €30,000 investment from BSV Ventures, a €500 award from the Future Biomedicine Fund, free tickets to The COINS conference and other prizes.
During this 3-day event, participants will work together to solve real challenges from the biotech industry, such as:
- Development of secure AI Platform for Predicting Toxicity, Surgical Complications, and Treatment Response after Total Neoadjuvant Therapy in Rectal Cancer
- Developing a pharmacogenomics-based solution — an algorithm that optimizes drug selection and dosage based on individual genotype data.
Schedule:
Day 1 (November 26) – Research & Development
Kickoff, team formation (for those who come without a team), company challenge presentations, brainstorming sessions, and the first development sprint.
Day 2 (November 27) – Business Development
Mentoring sessions, building business models, refining solutions, getting introduced to life science commercialization methods, and creating your pitch deck.
Day 3 (November 28) – Final Pitches
Pitch training workshop with Walid El Cheikh, final pitch preparation, and on-stage presentations to the jury and audience.
