On October 9–10 in Vilnius and Kaunas, the international technology and innovation conference “Human and More-Than-Human Futures: Innovating Technologies for Coexistence” will take place.

Co-organized by Lithuania and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the event serves as a strategic forum bringing together academia, industry, startups, business leaders, and policymakers.
The conference aims to foster dialogue on technological transformations, geopolitical challenges, and building a resilient and adaptive future. Sessions will focus on scenarios that integrate human and “more-than-human” perspectives, seeking solutions for the sustainable coexistence of people, nature, and technology.

Special attention will be given to new ideas on how to move beyond smart technologies towards sensing, self-learning systems that adapt to humans and their environment, while keeping humans at the center as creators and users.
LSC researchers Dr. Mindaugas Zaremba and Dr. Gytis Dudas will contribute with their research and perspectives, joining the global discussion on the future of science and technology.
