Two scientists from the Life Sciences Centre (LSC) were awarded the Rector's Prizes at festive meeting of the VU Senate. The award was also presented to the best LSC lecturer.
VU Rector Prof. Rimvydas Petrauskas awarded the prize for significant scientific achievements in 2022 to Dr. Mindaugas Zaremba, Chief Scientist of the GMC Institute of Biotechnology, and to Dr. Dalius Ratautas, Senior Scientist of the LSC Institute of Biochemistry.
The Rector also presented awards to the best VU lecturers. This year, Dr Radvilė Rimgailė-Voicik, who has lectures at the Institute of Biosciences, Department of Botany and Genetics, was voted the best lecturer of VU LSC.
