Research Interests: Molecular analysis of Zebrafish Danio rerio embryonic development and heart regeneration mechanisms. RNAseq, ChipSeq analysis and biomarker discovery.

Development of innovative engineered protein expression, purification technologies and their preclinical and clinical application.

Development of organoid and tissue 3D culture technologies and their application in the identification of novel biomarkers related to cancer and tissue regeneration.

Development of technologies for the encapsulation of chemotherapeutic drugs into nanoparticles. Biocompatibility studies of nanoparticles and their preclinical and clinical applications.

Application of droplet microfluidic technologies in the development of high-sensitivity virus quantification methods.

Development and application of novel cell reprogramming technologies and lentiviral gene expression/delivery systems in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.
