On April 18, Dassault Systèmes senior vice president John Kitchingman and Daniel Pero (Nordic and Baltic Partner sales manager senior specialist, Dassault Systèmes) and colleagues Donatas Staniulis (Executive Director of LithuaniaBIO), Gintaras Vilda (CEO of Gamybos inovacijų slėnis  (Manufacturing Innovation Valley), Dr. Vladimir Popov (CEO of CC IN RE) and Arūnas Urbšys (Projects Development Director of CC IN RE) visited the Life Sciences Center (LSC).

Prof. Daumantas Matulis, Director of the Life Sciences Center, presented the activities of the Center and, together with Prof. Rolandas Meškys and Donatas Staniulis, introduced the leaders of biotechnology science and industry in Lithuania, and talked about the sector's development and achievements.

Dassault Systèmes vice president John Kitchingman and Daniel Pero presented the company's efforts and solutions in the Life Sciences & Healthcare segment, the initiatives of the company's 3DEXPERIENCE Lab innovation accelerator, and the opportunities for networking with researchers and entrepreneurs from around the world. One of the key trademarks of this segment is BIOVIA. Another solution in this segment, MEDIDATA, contributed to the development of the Moderna vaccine for the control of COVID-19.

It is expected that collaborating with Dassault Systèmes can provide the life sciences sector in Lithuania with the tools, resources, and access to digitalisation needed to drive innovation.
