On March 6, the Life Sciences Center, together with its partners Northtown Vilnius and 2AM Health, hosted the opening event of an entrepreneurship program StartBIO: from Lab to Business.
During the event, Dr. Giovanni Rizzo, Partner at Indaco BIO Venture Capital Fund (Italy) and Prof. Leon de Windt, Professor of Cardiovascular Molecular Biology at Maastricht University and founder of several successful companies (The Netherlands), shared their personal experiences in developing business in life sciences. The entrepreneurship program as well as the participating teams were also presented.
The teams have already started their 7-week journey and will work together with international experts to identify the commercialization potential of their developing ideas, research results, or technology under development and model the possible path of their idea to a real business.
